The Community Service Through Action and Responsibility pageant will be held Friday, April 7 at the Princeton Community High School Auditorium. S.T.A.R. queen and princesses will attend Fourth Friday events in downtown Princeton between April and September, work with the mayor of Princeton on community service projects, and promote the city as well as local charities. The objective of the pageant is to provide young women in the Gibson County community the opportunity to earn an educational scholarship while obtaining the skills needed to become a strong female leader in her community by participating in community service events throughout the area. Entry fees from the Ambassador Princess program in addition to sponsorships from local business will help fund a scholarship to be awarded to the S.T.A.R. ambassador queen (teen division) each
year. Every participant will receive a S.T.A.R. Ambassador ribbon to show appreciation. Early bird registration contest for a chance to win two tickets to Holiday World.
