NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS AND ALL OTHER PERSONS
AFFECTED OF ADOPTION AND CONTENT OF RESOLUTION OF THE
GIBSON COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Taxpayers of the Gibson County Redevelopment District ("District"), and all other persons affected hereby, are notified that the Gibson County ("County") Redevelopment Commission ("Commission") did on December 20, 1995, adopt a declaratory resolution, as amended on July 13, 2000, January 29, 2008, April 24, 2008, March 7, 2011, February 8, 2012, December 7, 2015 and February 12, 2018 (collectively, as amended to date, "Declaratory Resolution"), establishing the Patoka/Union Townships Economic Development Area ("Area") and approving the economic development plan (as amended, "Plan"), and the Declaratory Resolution was confirmed by a Confirmatory Resolution adopted on February 27, 1996, as amended on March 28, 2001, February 27, 2012, January 4, 2016 and May 7, 2018 (collectively, as amended to date, "Confirmatory Resolution"). The Declaratory Resolution and the Confirmatory Resolution are hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Area Resolution."
On December 3, 2018, the Commission adopted its amending declaratory resolution ("Amending Declaratory Resolution"), amending the Area Resolution and the Plan to include the economic development projects described in Exhibit A to the Amending Declaratory Resolution in, serving or benefitting the Area ("2019 Plan").
The Amending Declaratory Resolution, the 2019 Plan and supporting data including a map and plat describing the Area, have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Gibson County Auditor, 101 N. Main Street, Princeton, Indiana 47670.
Notice is further given that the Commission on January 7, 2019, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., local time, at the Gibson County Courthouse Annex North, 225 N. Hart Street, Princeton, Indiana, will receive and hear remonstrances from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the Amending Declaratory Resolution and the 2019 Plan. At the time fixed for hearing or at any time prior thereto any person interested in the proceedings may file a written remonstrance with the Secretary of the Commission at the Department of Redevelopment. At such hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and all remonstrances that have been filed. After considering this evidence, the Commission will take final action by either confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the Amending Declaratory Resolution.
