PRINCETON—Gibson County’s fall “Dumpster Day” is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gibson County Fairgrounds.

Items that can be disposed of at the fairgrounds include large household goods, residential propane tanks (20 lb.), expired/unused medications, household/car batteries, paint, oil/grease, fluorescent light bulbs, electronics, lawn mowers (gas/oil removed), appliances (Freon removed and tagged).

Tires can be disposed of for a small fee per tire. Document shredding service will also be available.

Items not accepted during the event include construction materials, roofing, ammunition/explosives.

The event is for household items, not businesses.
