PETERSBURG — Marion Jean Stroud, 100, of Petersburg, died Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Lakewood Home in Petersburg.

She was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to George and Fannie Reed. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1937. She married Guy Stroud on March 28, 1944.

She worked for the Indiana Michigan Toll Road until her retirement in 1986. After retirement, they moved back to Petersburg, in 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Guy Stroud on May 17, 2002.

She is survived by nieces Betty Weisheit of Petersburg, Sue Berry of Monroe City, nephews Bill Berry of Petersburg, and Paul Hunt of New Hampshire.
