PRINCETON — A drug addiction treatment center is slated to open in Princeton next month.

Groups: Recover Together will be located on 228-230 West Broadway, Princeton and set to open on Dec. 18. Hours have yet to be determined, but are usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through with one day of evening hours.

Ashley Hall, Group’s Southeastern Indiana area manager, said the mission of the treatment center is to bring affordable treatment options. She said their programs are $65 a month for those without insurance and they accept Aetna and Optum insurance, the cost will be based on the plan and co-pays.

Hall said they do weekly drug screenings, therapy sessions and other services to help patients fight their addiction.

Hall said they help people who struggle with opiate addiction, pain medication or street drugs like heroin. Their programs are 18-24 months for groups of no more than 15.

“The ultimate goal is abstinence,” Hall said.

Hall said once someone comes in, they will have an assessment, quick screening, communicate with a counselor to see if they’re eligible, set up a treatment plan, meet with a physician, write a prescription if needed and they can pick it up at a pharmacy.

Hall said they won’t prescribe anything more than 16 milligrams because it could lead to diversion.

Hall said after discussion with community members and seeing a need in the community, they decided to open a center here. They have locations in New Albany, Tell City, and they plan to open locations in Salem, Vincennes and Jasper.

“A big thing is being involved with the community,” Hall said.

Hall said they are hiring staff members, office coordinators, license counselors and other employees.
