PRINCETON—The Princeton Daily Clarion Harvest Festival is from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson County Fairgrounds livestock pavilion in Princeton.

The event features a costume contest, hay rides, treat bags to the first 500 kids, games and other activities for children ages 0-18.

Event coordinator Jennifer Hill said the event features costume judging and prizes in addition to the activities.

Costume contest categories include: costumes you would see on the farm, at a museum, best schoolmarm/schoolmaster, best royal costume and best nerd costume.

Hill said the public is invited to enjoy a good time in a safe environment.

Would be nice to have the Harvest Festival replace the Halloween Parade.
