PRINCETON — Gibson County families interested in hosting Japanese exchange students Sept. 23-26 are encouraged to contact Gibson County Economic Development Corp. Associate Director Tami Muckerheide this week.

Muckerheide said students are scheduled to arrive from Evansville by bus in Princeton at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, greeted at the Princeton Municipal Building. Host families will be introduced to the students and teachers after the group is welcomed and presented with gifts from the City of Princeton.

Students will spend time with host families that weekend and on Monday, Sept. 25, will attend school with host family students. Later that evening, a cook-out is planned at Lyles Station for host families and students. Students and teachers will tour the heritage school/museum and its grounds.

Students meet back at the Princeton Municipal Building at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, to board a charter bus.

Interested host families can contact Muckerheide at 812-386-0002 or 812-779-7407 or email
