PRINCETON — Connie J. Cross, 71, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at The Heart Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born March 25, 1946 in Princeton to Paul and Wilma (Sanders) Hathaway. She retired from Walmart in Princeton and enjoyed attending the Walmart associates luncheon every month. She loved playing bingo.

Connie is survived by her husband, Guy Cross of Princeton; mother, Wilma Hathaway of Princeton; children, Mike Cross (Terri) of Francisco, Greg Carey of Princeton, Manda Carey of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, James Carey (Jeanie) of Mt. Carmel, Jennifer Morrow of North Carolina, Shawn, Shannon Gifford (Gary) of Albion, Illinois and Scotty Cross (Kimberly) of Mt. Carmel; grandchildren, Brittney and Cody Cross, Katie, Shelby and Ryce Carey, MaDonna McGrew, Mycol Carey, Emily Wright, Ali Baleda (Nathan), Abby Gifford and Carter and Lexi Cross; several great grandchildren; a brother, Ed Hathaway (Dora) of Princeton; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Hathaway; granddaughter, Mia J. Carey; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Julia Hathaway.

There will be a time of sharing of memories at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main Street, Princeton, IN 47670, with visitation from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
