OAKLAND CITY — Darlene M. “Dolly” Young, 83, died at her home in Oakland City.

She was born April 8,1934 in Independence, Wisconsin to Andrew and Evelyn Bautch Schultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; two sisters; and husband Hobert Young in 2005.

She is survived by daughters, Patty (Steve) Clutter of Lynnville, Jackie (Michael) Goldbach of Princeton and Sally Young of Evansville; siblings Richard Schultz, Karen Fester, Sherry Kessner, Kathy Buedel, Nancy Schultz, Michael Schultz, Gene Schultz, Diane Schultz; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alec Hensley officiating, burial following at Williams Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service hour Sunday at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 256 Auxiliary or Fraternal Order of Eagles of Oakland City.
