REISTERSTOWN, Md. — Dennis R. Foster, 68, of Reisterstown, Maryland, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. He was born on June 11, 1948 in Princeton to the late William “Bill” Foster and Betty (Dilbeck) Meek.

He was the loving husband of 40 years to Abby Bare Foster.

Dennis was president and owner of Dennis R. Foster and Associates, then part-owner with American Turf Equipment Co., and most recently was co-owner and vice-president of Summit Turf Equipment Co. He was an avid runner and had run in several marathons. Dennis always enjoyed watching sporting events and spending time with his family.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn and Walter Dilbeck of Fort Branch.

Surviving Dennis, in addition to his wife are brothers, Donnie (Lisa) Foster of Haubstadt, and Darrel (Donna) Russelburg of Evansville; and nieces, April (Matt) Weisheit and Amber (Charlie) Ruhl; nephews, Ryan (Sarah) Foster, Corey (Melissa) Foster, and Jay (Amy) Foster.

Funeral service was Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Rev. David R. Bare officiating. Private interment followed in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 2920 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
