PATOKA — George Lennis Shoultz, 91, of Patoka, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at the Waters of Princeton.

He was born in Gibson County, Wednesday, April 20, 1927, to George Lennis and Ila Marie Masters Shoultz, both of whom have preceded.

George is a lifelong area resident and self-employed general contractor, farmer and school bus driver. George was a long time member of the First General Baptist Church of Princeton. He was a former member of the Columbia F & AM lodge 450 and the Patoka Lions Club.

On May 18, 1945, he entered the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Black Hawk in the Asiatic Pacific theater during WW II. Dec. 22, 1987, in Henderson, Kentucky, he married Lilly K. Dillon who survives of Patoka.

Other survivors include daughters, Sharon Sadler of Owensboro, Kentucky and Michelle Holder of Evansville; sisters Carol Weist of Princeton and Betty Kendall of Florida, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Interment will take place in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mount Olympus.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Doyle Funeral Home in Princeton has the honor of having charge of the services.
