FORT BRANCH – Gregory A. Burger, 59, of Ft. Branch, passed to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital located in Newburgh.

Greg was born in Indianapolis on Monday, June 9, 1958. Greg was the son of Robert and Sabra Rose Burger and was a life long area resident. He was a real estate agent and owner of D & G Estates, LLC. He also worked for Keller Crescent of Evansville, retiring after 38 years. He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed building furniture and playing the harmonica. He was a living donor who had great compassion for putting others before himself and was a member of the Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton.

On April 14, 1984, in Evansville, he married Donna Englert, who survives in Ft. Branch and continues to be a blessing to the Englert family, and they are thankful for the impact he made on them. Other survivors include his mother, Sabra Burger, of Evansville; son, Nathan (Erin) Burger, also of Ft. Branch; daughter, Christine (William) Halsne, of Princeton, and grandsons, Isaiah and Cayson Burger, of Ft. Branch.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert, and sister, Susan Willis.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main Street in Princeton, with Pastors Mike Marsh and John Spencer officiating. Internment will take place in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Ft. Branch.

Visitation is at Doyle Funeral Home Tuesday, May 15, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m.
