PRINCETON — Harold F. Watt, 85, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his home.

He was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Princeton to Walter Scott Watt and Grace (Lehman) Watt. He was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1952. Harold served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the V.F.W. He retired in 1993 from Old Ben One coal mine after many years of service and was a member of the UMWA 5179.

Harold is survived by his wife, Patsy (Finch) Watt; three children, Jim Watt (Lisa), Kathy Creek (Mac) and Steve Watt all of Princeton; five grandchildren, John Creek (Erin) of Boonville, Angie Marshall (Dacin) of New Palestine, Indiana, Chad Watt (Audrey) of Princeton, Emily Seib (Jeremy) of Ft. Branch and Jason Watt (Summer) of Princeton; 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd, and sister-in-law, Jettye Watt; a granddaughter, Brandi Watt, and a great-grandson, Trevor Watt.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Burial will follow. Military rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Retired Military Veterans, 7291 S SR 65, Owensville, IN 47665. You may leave a message of sympathy or light a candle in memory of Harold at Colvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Watt family.
