PRINCETON — Helen K. Padgett, 74, of Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville.

She was born Aug. 11, 1943, to Henry and Olive (Robb) Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Padgett.

She is survived by her brother David Wallace of Evansville and three nephews. She was a waitress at the Cozy Cove Cafe in Oakland City for many years.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City followed by a graveside service at Montgomery Cemetery. Pastor Scott Moreland of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Vincennes will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Gideons International.
