FORT BRANCH — Jerry L. Wilson, 69, of Fort Branch, passed away at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville Tuesday, Nov 28, 2017. He was born to Roy and JoAn (Stone) Wilson in Evansville on March 17, 1948.

Jerry graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1966, and entered into the U. S. Army, where he served from 1968 to 1972 in the Vietnam War. While in the military, he was assigned to build the Joint Crypto in Germany. Jerry married Connie Kuester on June 8, 1973. He is a member of the Fort Branch VFW post 2714. He was also a retired electrician.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Connie Wilson of Fort Branch daughter Ruth Ann Wilson of Fort Branch; parents Roy and JoAn Wilson of Haubstadt; twin brother Larry Wilson of Stuart, Florida, and sisters Lou Ann Wilson of Louisville, Kentuckey and Penni Williamson of Haubstadt.

Service is at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Rev. Dave Marshall officiating. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. Burial will be at St. Lucas Cemetery in Fort Branch, following services where military honors will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gibson County Animal Services.
