EVANSVILLE — Mary Frances Moore, 86, of Evansville, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Owensville on March 13, 2019.

Mary was born on July 30, 1932, in Lewisburg, Tennessee to Dewey Bell and Nellie Vernon (Dixon) Jett.

She was a loving wife of 38 years to Howard Moore and a caring mother of four daughters, Donna Weightman, Wanda Ivie, Virginia Bright, and Linda Oliver. She loved spending time with her 15 grandchildren and her 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She enjoyed beautiful flowers and her favorite treat of ice cream. Mary was known by all for her warm smile and sweet nature. She was a member of Blue Grass Methodist Church. She also attended Owensville Church of the Nazarene.

Service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Chandler, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the funeral home and from 12 P.M. until the time of service on Sunday.
