PRINCETON — Patricia A. “Pat” Dietsch, 78, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her home in Princeton.

She was born Dec. 24, 1938 to Gilbert and Teresa (Ellsperman) Schwartz, both now deceased. She was married to Virgil Dietsch from 1967 until 1974 when he passed away. She was a nurse and worked at St. Mary’s and Wirth Hospitals, Alcoa and several nursing homes. She was a member of the Civil Arc Patrol and JayCettes of Louisville.

She is survived by her children, Beth Besing (Kevin) of Princeton and Mike Dietsch (Jennifer) of the Washington, D.C. area; six grandchildren, Katie Queen (John), Kristal Franklin (Jake), Andrew and Jake Besing, MiRabelle and Julian Dietsch; five great grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, Ellie, Mya and Axel; sister, Carolyn Vollmer (Bob) of Evansville; brothers-in-law, Fr. Bill Dietsch and Kenny Dietsch and sisters-in-law Bernie Dietsch and Judy Gorman.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Father Bill Dietsch. Visitation is from noon until service time Friday at Colvin Funeral Home. Graveside service is at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2500 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville, IN 47720.
