PRINCETON — Ronnie L. Dill Sr., born to Tom and Hazel Dill of Princeton, Nov. 8, 1953, and married to Janet Perry Dec. 12, 1971, finished his brave battle with cancer Nov. 24, 2018.

He lived a true life and was never fake to anyone.

He worked for the City of Princeton for over 30 years. He also worked for Jerry and Logan Parker for several years, who helped him through many tough times.

He was a car enthusiast who had cars throughout his lifetime that many people would love to have. But his greatest pride and joy was his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Janet of 47 years; his mother, Hazel; three sons; Ronnie Jr., Randy (Kristi), and Elvis; five grandsons; Austin, Andrew, Alek, Adam and River; seven siblings; Linda, Tommy, Wayne, LaVonda, Claudia, Marty and Rodney.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom and two infant siblings; Burtis and Tina.

His family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, prayers and visits while he fought his battle. A special thank you to his brothers and sisters that never left his side. We appreciate what you’ve done more than you will ever know.

Per his and his wife’s request; there will be no services. There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. The family has entrusted Pierre Funeral Home for personal assistance.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
