OAKLAND CITY — Thelma R. Drew Georges May, Oakland City, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 at Parkview Care Center in Evansville.

She was born in Petersburg July 1, 1935 to William and Margrette (Riddle) Mallory.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant for 40 years, last working at Wirth Hospital in Oakland City. She spent most of her life in Oakland City, Petersburg and Somerville.

Surviving are her daughter, Janet (Drew) Enlow of Oakland City; sisters, Maxine Swain of Petersburg, Linda Schmidt of Evansville; brother, Jerry Mallory of Somerville; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charles Drew Sr., Audrey Georges and Larry May; son, Charles Drew Jr.; daughter, Cheryl McDowell; and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, burial in Somerville Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
