Clean Sweep

Eleven local nonprofit organizations shared proceeds of a $2,750 donation from German American's Princeton Banking Center for participating in the bank's Clean Sweep event this spring. The Lions Club, Arc of Gibson County, Princeton Youth Baseball, Francisco Volunteer Fire Department, Gibson County Animal Services, Tri Kappa, Princet Lodge 231, St. Joseph Church youth group, Boy Scout Troop 222, Princeton Girls Softball and Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana Troop 453 participated in the community clean-up event. Teams were treated to breakfast from James Price at Casey's General Store in Princeton and dumpsters were provided by Gibson County Solid Waste Management District Director Mike Stilwell. Bryna Smith, German American's Princeton Financial Center supervisor, organized the community cleanup.
