Donations accepted for COPS cyclist dinner

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 115 is accepting donations from the public to assist Cindy Walker, widow of Oakland City Police Officer Michael Deno. Walker feeds COPS cyclists who ride into Gibson County each year to raise funds for scholarships, events and camps that support the memory of fallen police officers. The group also provides assistance to surviving family members. The cyclists arrive in Gibson County July 19. Donations for the meal are accepted at Princeton Police Department and Gibson County Sheriff’s Office. Checks can be made payable to FOP 115 with “COPS” written in the memo line. The lodge will forward the funds to Walker.
