Farm to Table at Lyles Station

The Lyles Station Farm to Table Fundraiser picked up Saturday after a break during the COVID shutdown. The event raises money for Lyles Station while also emphasizing locally sourced connections. Pictured is one of Oakland City University’s Cross Country team member serving guests Saturday. Volunteers served each course, including catering from R’z Cafe and Catering and locally roasted coffee from Portside Coffee Company in Owensboro. The event featured cookies from LeeAndrea’s Sweet Treats decorated by Susie Powers (Painted by Susie). Guests enjoyed live music from Dekar Baker and Monte Skelton of Loops and Rhythms. Drinks were also served by Klinker’s Bar and Grill, and vendors including Cheesey Chix Cheese Balls were set up at the event.
