St. Joe lends a hand to Isaiah 1:17 Project

Madison Brooks/Daily Clarion In conjunction with the yearly USA January 22nd Day of Prayer for the Protection of the Unborn, the Spiritual Life & Worship Commission of St. Joseph Catholic Church, led by Lana Hurst, encouraged parishioners to spiritually adopt an unborn baby. Parishioners, as well as St. Joseph Catholic School students in grades third through fifth were encouraged to name their spiritually adopted baby, and pray for the baby and mother daily. Joseph Michael is the parish's spiritually adopted baby and monthly growth updates were announced. In preparation of Joseph Michael and friends' safe arrival, donation of baby items began in Sept. St. Joseph Catholic School celebrated Joseph Michael and friends' safe arrival with an artwork display and by giving collected items to Isaiah 1:17 Project representative Christy Hull Friday afternoon.
