Drone used in search for person Tuesday

Above: Princeton Fire Territory was dispatched Tuesday to the area of Alabama Street to assist in a search for a missing person. PFT reported that Gibson County Central Dispatch lost phone contact with the caller before they could get an exact location. There was a search through the cornfields and along the railroad tracks before additional resources were called in. King is responsible for the VFD’s drone program, and training its members in using the drone. After a lengthy search through cornfields and along the railroad tracks, command called for additional resources. DNR could not fly its drones due to the weather, so PFT reached out to Vincennes for its drone. The drone is equipped with which has FLIR and over a mile flight distance.
