GIBSON COUNTY — An Owensville man was arrested early Friday morning after a White 2003 Buick Century was stopped on Ind. 165 near Johnson for speeding.

A news release from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office states Owensville Deputy Marshal Jason Wright detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver, identified as 27-year-old Caleb Larkins.

Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Rose conducted a roadside DUI investigation. Larkins was booked on charges of possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Around 9:30 a.m. Friday, Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in the trailer park located in the 500 block of West Warrick Street in Owensville.

An investigation completed by Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies U.B. Smith and Brian Naas resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Nicholas Mobley.

He was taken to the Gibson County Jail and booked on a battery charge.

A Princeton man was arrested Friday afternoon following a report to Gibson County Central Dispatch of an erratic male causing a disturbance.

The subject, identified as 20-year-old Andrew Dill, was not immediately located, according to the sheriff’s office, but Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies U.B. Smith and Brian Naas saw him on South Main Street, and started an investigation into the earlier report.

Dill was booked on preliminary charges of intimidation, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
