GIBSON COUNTY — A Henderson, Kentucky man was arrested Tuesday after the Gibson County Sheriff‘s Office received a call about a stranded motorist on Ind. 65 near County Road 850 South.

Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. John Fischer arrived and found Aaron Keach, 35, sitting in the driver side of his 2018 Jeep, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

According to the release, Fischer talked to Keach and determined Keach was showing many signs of impairment.

According to the release, Keach told the officer he drove off the road to turn around, and his tire broke. The investigation showed Keach’s vehicle sideswiped a guardrail and then went off the road.

A roadside investigation was conducted, and Fischer found probable cause to believe Keach had operated a vehicle while intoxicated.

Keach was transported to the Gibson County Jail and was booked on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, with endangerment.
