PRINCETON - A minor accident occurred at the intersection of the 4-way stop at Main Street and Water Street in Princeton Thursday afternoon.

Vehicles involved were North Gibson School Corporation school bus 17 and a green pick-up truck.

No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident, and all children in the school bus were checked by EMTs for precautionary measures.

There was minor damage to both vehicles involved.

"Bus 17 let bus 2 through the intersection first," Princeton Chief of Police Derek McGraw stated. "When it was bus 17's turn to proceed, the driver of the green truck failed to yield the right-of-way of bus 17, and they met in the middle of the intersection."

The driver of the truck said he didn't see the bus.
