PRINCETON — The Fort Branch man charged with murder in connection with the March 2017 shooting death of Buckskin resident Samuel Bethe has a trial start date set for Dec. 9.

Jacob L. Wilson was represented in court Aug. 8 by defense counsel Roman Ricker who requested the court set a jury trial for 8:30 a.m. Dec. 9 through Dec. 18, as previously agreed upon by the parties. Ricker also requested that Wilson's other case, where he is charged with Level 6 Felony strangulation and Class A Misdemeanor battery, track with it.

Dec. 9, will be used used for a progress date. Ricker said the final depositions will be completed on Sep. 26, 2019, and a hearing to discuss prior criminal history to be used during the trial, will be scheduled within 30 days.
