OWENSVILLE — A collisionTuesday afternoon resulted in one of the drivers being taken to the hospital with injuries.

A Gibson County Sheriff’s Office accident report released Wednesday morning says the two vehicles were southbound on Ind. 65 near Pine Tree Lane and James McGrew, 74, Owenville, driver of a 2014 Cadillac, was slowing down to turn right.

Channing Neufelder, 31, Owensville, operator of a 2015 Ford Explorer, struck the Cadillac from behind.

Neufelder’s vehicle went into a ditch and the Cadillac was pushed into a brick landscaping wall.

McGrew was taken from the scene by ambulance for neck pain. Neufelder and a 5-year-old passenger were listed with possible injuries in the crash report, but refused treatment on scene.

The report states Neufelder said they would both go to the hospital on their own to be checked out.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
