PATOKA — Two passengers were taken to the hospital for injuries following a Feb. 10 accident.

According to accident reports released by the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, Myles Carey, 17, was traveling north on County Road 375 East, preparing to turn to turn west onto County Road 400 North.

Carey slid off the north side of the roadway and rolled into a ditch, according to the report. His 1993 Chevrolet came to rest facing west, with damage to the entire passenger side and top.

Carey was not listed with injuries. Dylan Mason, 16, the front seat middle passenger, was unconscious for a short period, according to the report. He was taken from the scene due to minor bleeding.

Breylin Turner, 16, the front seat passenger on the right side, was partially trapped inside the vehicle and taken from the scene by ambulance for medical attention due to minor bleeding.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
