OAKLAND CITY — Anna M. Rainey 86, of Oakland City, went home to be with Lord Friday, June 4, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Oatsville, Indiana to Jessie and Bessie (Knight) Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roscoe Rainey and daughter Lori Steber.

Anna was a member of Knights Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by daughters; Julie (Stan) Terwiske and Lisa (John) Meny of Oakland City; grandchildren; Rachel (Brian) Jenkins of Princeton, Sarah (Mark) Krafcky of Georgia, Erica (Kyle) Rummel of Huntingburg, Indiana, John Michael and Brian Meny of Oakland City; great-grandchildren; Alexis, Blake, Austin, Adam, Chevy and Kaulder. Sisters; Sue Cockerham of Largo, Florida, Joyce Bales of Petersburg, brother Frank Knight of Francisco.

Services will be noon Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Jared Henry will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service on Tuesday at the chapel.

All those who wish to honor and remember Anna in person at the service is required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance. Social distancing will be enforced. Family and friends may send messages of comfort to www.lambbasham.com
