PRINCETON — Donald “Don” Lee McEllhiney, 84, of Princeton, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at 5:45 a.m. at his home.

He was born July 10, 1936, in Princeton to Louis and Ruby (Ingle) McEllhiney.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice Sue McEllhiney; daughter, Ramona McEllhiney; son, Mark McEllhiney; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; brother, Mike McEllhiney (MaryLou); sisters, Debbie Conklin (Kenny) and Cathy McEllhiney; and several nieces

and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, LaDonne (Sloan); step-father, Gene Dillon; and brother, Dan McEllhiney.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment followed at Decker Cemetery north of Princeton. A visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Colvin Funeral Home. A live broadcast was hosted on facebook.com/colvinfuneralhomes around the service hour.
