PRINCETON — Harry Gooch, Jr., 96, of Washington, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.

He was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Princeton to Harry Gooch, Sr. and Mildred May (Roundtree) Gooch and grew up in Princeton.

He is survived by his children, Delton Gooch, Sr. of Princeton and Harriet Gooch Green (Edwin) of Washington; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Gooch of Edwardsville, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Corinne C. Gooch; daughter, Joyce M. Gooch Granger; great-granddaughter, Kyera Gooch; and daughter-in-law, Ora Gooch.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. (CDT) Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery near Lyles Station.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 10 a.m. (CDT) until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home. Gathering sizes are limited to 25 people; social distancing and masks are required. The service will be live streamed on www.facebook.com/Colvin
