FORT BRANCH — Betty J. Taylor, 86, of Fort Branch, died July 30, 2020, in Newburgh.

She was born Jan. 28, 1934, in Tell City, Indiana to Coy and Louise (Schraner) Goffinet. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Taylor in 2004; one sister Marian Canarie; and two brothers, Allen and Don Goffinet.

She is survived by her children; David (Phyllis) Taylor of Corpus Christy, Texas, Cheryl (Larry Patmore) Taylor and Tom (Denise) Taylor both of Fort Branch; sisters, Janice Howland of Tell City, Carol Sue Taylor of Magnet, Indiana, brothers Stanley(Cheryl) Goffinet of Tell City and Harold (Brenda) Goffinet of Rockport; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and would have been a great-great-grandmother in September.

Service was Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. with Keith Dewig officiating with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.
