FENTON, Mo. — David Russell Wright,74, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at his home in Fenton, Missouri.

David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a dedicated teacher who taught science courses for over 40 years in middle school, high school, and college in Indiana and Missouri. David grew up in Owensville, Indiana where he received his high school diploma. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Oakland City University and his master’s degree at Ball State University.

David was preceded in death by his daughter Angela Elaine and his parents Russell Wright and Vivian (Smith) Wright life long residents of Owensville, Indiana.

David is survived by his wife Carol (Stultz) Wright, his children Heather Heintz and Andrew Wright of Fenton, Missouri and his grandchildren Elaina Denning (Kaleb) of Afton, Missouri and Lia Heintz of Waterloo, Illinois.

A memorial service attended by family and friends was held Jan. 20, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Fenton, Missouri.

David’s ashes, along with his parent’s ashes will be taken to his home town of Owensville, for burial on May 11, 2019 at Owensville Cemetery. Holders Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be in charge of burial.
