OAKLAND CITY — Donald G. “Lucky” Lutz, 90, of Oakland City, died Friday, March 20, 2020, at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg.

He was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Danville, Illinois to George and Mary (Brown) Lutz.

He served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, sister and wife Billie (Borders) Lutz. Don was known for his painting and clock repair in the area.

He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Fecrest of Richton Park, Illinois and Maxine Anderson of Paxton, Illinois; and friends Jim Broshears and Phil Young of Oakland City.

Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is honored to be entrusted with care of his family. Celebration of life will take place at later date.
