PRINCETON — Evan Dow Reynolds, 31, of Princeton, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019.

He was born Nov. 16, 1987, in Sullivan, Indiana to Raymond M. and Rondi D. (Goodin) Reynolds.

He attended Sullivan and Dugger schools and graduated from Union High School in 2006 where he was a member of the golf and football teams. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he graduated with a degree in welding.

He was a proud sixth-generation coal miner, working locally, in Australia, and most recently Gibson County. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Whosoever Will Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to travel after his experiences he had living and working in Australia, and had intentions of returning.

He was learning to speak Japanese for a future trip to Japan and was planning a family trip to Ireland. He loved being with his family and friends. He was always a helping hand to others and was never seen without a smile on his face.

He is survived by parents Raymond (Sonny) and Rondi Reynolds both of Dugger, Indiana; two sons, Tristan and Briar Reynolds; brother Ryan; sister Madison; grandfather Dennis Miller of Sullivan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Esse (Quillen) Reynolds, Sandra Kay (Green) Miller and Ronald L. Goodin.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is in the embrace of Lord. Save a place, my sweet baby boy.

Service will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 1 p.m. with the Pastor Matthew Ranard and Chip Langley officiating. Visitation will follow at 11 a.m. until time of service. Private interment will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
