PRINCETON — John Henry “Johnny” Sprinkle Jr., 66 of Princeton passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at his home after a long illness associated with diabetes. He was born in Princeton Oct. 31, 1953, to John Henry and Marie (Walker) Sprinkle.

Johnny was a retired truck driver with Sprinkle Trucking. He had lived in Princeton for many years, growing up in the Wheeling area. He was a member of the American Legion Post 25. He enjoyed watching horse races and spending time at the horse track.

He is survived by his sisters, Connie Smith (J.D.) of Francisco, Becky Richardson (Steve) of Newburgh and Vicki Archer (David) of Greencastle, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Sprinkle and Marie Sprinkle Doris and a special nephew, Nick Herthel.

Private services will be held at a later date. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
