WINSLOW — Lennis Russell, 61, of Winslow, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg.

He was born March 16, 1958 in Huntingburg, to Annis and Ethel (Tisdale) Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Russell. He was a coal miner and member of U.M.W.A. and retired from Wabash Mine in Keensburg. He was member of Patoka Valley Long Rifle Association and attended Muren Church of God.

He is survived by daughter Alissa (Gerald) Brindle of Evansville and sister Becky (Mark) Pride of Spurgeon; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Eastern Time Saturday Dec. 7, 2019 at Muren Church of God with Rev. Clint Woolsey officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. ET until services at the church. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
