Marilyn Sue Arburn

OAKLAND CITY — Marilyn Sue Arburn, 82, of Oakland City entered rest Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at the Lakewood Home in Petersburg.

She was born June 25, 1938, in Oakland City to Brady and Fern Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene Arburn, brothers Ronald Brewer and Morris “Bud” Brewer. Sue was a member of Oakland City Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her daughter Josie Wade of Oakland City; sons Kelly Arburn of Winslow, and Brady Arburn of Central City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Leslie Arburn (Bas), Josh Wade, Amanda Gonzales (Carlos), Leah Hester (Chuck), great grandchildren Lynn and Olivia Wade, Gemma, Wade and Grey Gonzales and Barrett Hester. A sister Mary Goodson (John) of Pendleton, Indiana and a brother Don Brewer (Vivory) of Oakland City; and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, 1 p.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darin Nossett officiating. Burial will take in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until services. Memorial Contributions maybe given in Sue’s honor to Lakewood Home 840 Lakewood Dr. Petersburg, IN 47567.
