PRINCETON — Martin Edwin Kantner Jr., 73, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at his residence.

He was born Tuesday, March 18, 1947, in Shellbyville, Illinois to Martin Edwin Kantner and Emily Susan Jenovick Kantner, both whom preceded him in death.

Martin worked in the janitorial division at Menards Home Improvement in Princeton.

On Nov. 11, 1995, Martin married Sheila Le Anne Scott who survives of Princeton.

Martin is survived by wife, Sheila Kantner of Princeton; daughter, Jan Amanda (Joe) Hurckman of Edgerton, Wisonsin; step-daughters, Angela (Brent) Seibert of Mt Carmel, and Cheryl (Greg) Adams of Batesville, Indiana; brothers, Bob (Carmen) Kantner of Salina, California and Herb Kantner of Orangevale, California; sisters, Becky Kantner of Portland, California, Kathy (Steve) Hern of Roseville, California and Susan Kantner (Beth Cooper) of Elkgrove, California; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steve and sister, Sharon.

Per Martin’s wishes cremation will take place with a celebration of life and visitation with the family on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670. Visitation will take place keeping in mind any remaining mandates pertaining to the COVID-19 situations.
