EVANSVILLE — Rose A. Wilkerson, 72, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville after losing her battle with A.L.S.

She was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Haubstadt to Frank and Mary Louise (Schneider) Seib.

Rose retired from Wolf’s Bar-B-Q restaurant after 50 years of service.

She enjoyed playing bingo, skipbo, clabber, embroidering and making quilts. She loved baking items for her family and neighbors. She loved spending time with family, friends and especially her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her 2 sons, Mark (Lisa) Wilkerson and Mike (Laura Conlin) Wilkerson; two granddaughters, Ashley and Megan Wilkerson and one great-granddaughter, Raelee Wilkerson; two sisters, Dorothy (Tom) Shoulders and Mary (Melvin) Willman; two brothers, Andy (Anna Mae) Seib and Syl (Mary) Seib; one sister-in-law, Debbie Seib; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Leo and Rob Seib.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, August 12 at the funeral home.

We will be forever grateful for the great care from the nurses and staff at Deaconess Hospital in her final hours.
