OAKLAND CITY — Shirley L. Mason, 84, of Oakland City entered rest on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Amber Manor Care in Petersburg.

She was born on March 9, 1935, in Carbondale, Indiana to George and Helen (Bynum) Feaster.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband Tunny Mason; sons Gary and Mark Mason; daughter Melinda Penny; sisters Alice France and Janet Venable.

Shirley is survived by children Eddie (Patti) Mason of Poulsbo, Washington and Kelly-(Lynn) Mason of Oakland City, Lisa (Brent) Feathers of Georgetown, Indiana, Shannon (Dennis) Green of Oakland City, Tammy (Dan) Haller of Princeton; brother Grant Feaster of Ft. Branch; sisters, Cathy Feaster of Ft. Branch, Annie Pirkle of California; grandchildren Andrea (Donnie) Wiseman, Mark (Jilaine) Mason II, Gary Mason and Rickie Mason, Lori Mason, Phoenix (J.D.) Booker, Brandie (Charles) Hinds, Angela Mason, Leslie (Jarrod) Beard, George Mason, Elizabeth (Neil) Cole, Mari Ana Fisher, Brittany Feathers, Amanda (Jared) Peterson, Alisha ( Erik) Reed, Helen Renee (Bill) Wilson; and 25 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct.10, 2019, at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Darin D. Nossett and Rev. Jonathan Scott will be officiating, Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel and from 8 a.m. until service on Thursday.
