FORT BRANCH — Wilfred W. Elpers, 90, of Fort Branch, died July 17, 2020.

He was born to William H. and Henrietta (Koressell) Elpers Nov. 26, 1929, in Evansville.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Weber) Elpers; brothers, Virgil Elpers, Vernon Elpers and Bob Elpers; and sister, Hazel Kraft.

He is survived by his children, David Elpers of Fort Branch, Donna Moritz of Mt. Carmel, Wayne Elpers of Fairfax, Virginia, Peggy Horrall of Mt. Carmel, Wanda Silkey of Evansville, Penny Elpers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sandy Elpers of Fort Branch, and Christopher Elpers of Fort Branch; siblings, Ruthy Newman of Evansville, Jim Elpers of Evansville, Sylvester Elpers of Evansville, and Neil Elpers of Warrenton, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Holy Cross Church from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
