OAKLAND CITY — Marian A. Burch, 80, formerly of Oakland City, entered rest on Monday Nov. 30, 2020, at Golden Living Center in Petersburg, Indiana.

She was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Tennessee to Robert and Daisey Carter Burns.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tom Burch.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and retired from Gibson County Ambulance services as an E.M.T after several years of service.

She is survived by daughter Rachel Burch of Livonia, Indiana and son Daniel Burch of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren Leah Pakish and Dallas Reed and great-grandchild Mia Reed, sister Johnita Powers of Princeton.

Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Frank Renner Celebrant. Burial will follow in Montgomery Cemetery. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is honored to assist Marian’s family.

Due to new COVID-19 mandates from Gov. Holcomb and CDC social distancing is still observed with the maximum of 50 people for attendance to all visitation and services. Face mask are required by state mandate at the visitation and services.
