PRINCETON — Mary Catherine McGillem, 87, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at her home.

She was born May 17, 1932, in Oakland City to Claude E. and Celia Mae (Newkirk) Green, and resided most of her lifetime in Princeton, coming from Oakland City.

She is survived by her three sons, Charles R. McGillem (Penny) of Illinois, Gary L. McGillem (Diana) of Indiana and Ronald A. McGillem (Michelle) of Princeton; four grandchildren, Christopher McGillem, Brittany Gilford, Megan Perry and Stephanie Perry; five great-grandchildren, Kane and Alyssa McGillem, Chris and Marissa McGillem and Brandon Beadles; three brothers, Ronnie Green of Oakland City, Manson Green of Princeton and Claude Green of Somerville; and one sister, Martha Jean Graves of Frankfort, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McGillem Jr., in November 1994; and a grandson, Charles McGillem, in June 2016.

A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.
