EVANSVILLE — Richard Lee Aydelotte, 85, of Evansville, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2021.

He was born April 24, 1935, to Charles and Amy Aydelotte.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He attended the Oakland City Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Old Ben Coal. He was a member of the Oakland City Masonic Lodge 467.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, two brothers, Robert and Ray, and two sisters, Dorothy Jean Collins, and Margaret Frances Wiggs.

He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Heldt (Ron), Amy Aydelotte, Kristi Aydelotte (Amy), four granddaughters, seven great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A private family service was held with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
