New neighbors!

What a surprise to see several herons just west of my home.

Having checked my Paterson Bird Book, they look like the one in the Clarion dated April 23. That was at the water fowl Patoka National Wildlife Refuge.

Today, May 12, I have seen herons three times. Always in a field of wheat. There are some ponds west of me, I expect they are nearby.
