The Haubstadt boys basketball teams hosted Pike Central on Tuesday night.

7th grade gameThe 7th grade won 39- 17. Crew Hasenour led the way with seven points.

Brayden Campbell chipped in with five points.

Clayton Gries, Peyton Johnson, Kolten Schmitt, and Ben Reinhart each added four points. Carson Hartke hit a three-pointer and both Jeter Simmons and Mason Kruse knocked down a field goal.

Johnson pulled down four rebounds. The seventh grade improves to 2- 0.

8th grade gameThe 8th grade also came away with a win, by a 40- 27 final.

Brayden Alldredge led the way with 13 points. Alldredge hit 5 of 10 from the floor, including a three and a 2-for-2 effort from the stripe.

Spencer Staggs added nine points and pulled down 15 rebounds. Gunner Alexander had eight points and five rebounds.

Cameron Truxal had six points. Colin Scherer and Isaac Fryman each hit a field goal.

The 8th grade improves to 2-0. Both teams will host Vincennes Clark on Monday.

I was pleased with both games. The boys played hard and got out to the lead and maintained it throughout the game. Coach Stafford played everyone and almost got everyone to score.
