FORT BRANCH —Both the Gibson Southern Titan and Lady Titan swim teams emerged victorious on their senior nights Monday, with the boys defeating both South Knox and Tecumseh in a tri-meet and the girls downing Tecumseh in a dual-meet.

The Boys' final score saw them winning with 44, South Knox finishing second with 29 and Tecumseh in third with 19. 

Sophomore Lucas Lingafelter and freshman Dawson Maurer teamed up to win the 200 Yard Medley Relay, senior Logan McClain won the 200-Yard Free Stroke and 100 Yard Back Stroke, senior Devin Murphy won the 500 Yard Free and Maurer winning both the 200 Yard Individual Medley and 100 Yard Breast Stroke.

The girls defeated Tecumseh 97-83. Tierney Maurer set a school record in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:10.62, shattering a record set by teammate Ruth Mercer in February of 2020. Maurer also added a victory in the 500 Yard Free Stroke with a final time of 6.04.02.

Other winners for the Lady Titans included senior Nicole Ritcher and sophomore Hailey Ritcher teaming up to win the 200 Yard Free Relay, Mercer winning the 200 Yard IM, Nicole Ritcher winning the 100 Yard Free Stroke and Mercer and Nicole Ritcher winning the 400-yard relay.
